The Arland in dupioni silk is the same beloved set, gown, romper, skirt, and bonnet, rendered in a fabric that holds memory differently. Dupioni carries a natural slub and a luminous sheen that catches the light of a church, a garden, a family home on a Sunday morning. The gown falls in a long, ceremonial line with a peter pan collar and ribbon ties; the romper and coordinating skirt extend the set through the hours that follow. Finished by hand. Made to be kept.
